  கல்வியின் தேடலை  எதைக் கொண்டு தொடங்குவது என்கிற கேள்வி பல நூற்றாண்டுகளாக திரிப்தியுராத பதில்களை கொண்டு கல்வி வெளியில் அழைந்து திரிந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறது. முடிவுறாத கேள்வியின் பதில்கள் எங்கும் விரைவி அக்கறையுள்ள உள்ளங்களின் தேடலை ஓயாமல் தூண்டிஎழுப்பிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது.

இந்த வருட(2019) புத்தகத் திருவிழாவில்  நிறைய புத்தகங்கள் இரண்டு வருடங்கள்  கழித்து மீண்டும் திருப்திகரமாக.

சந்தேகம் தீர்க்கப்படுமா-1 வாழ்க்கைக்கு கல்வியே அடிப்படை ஆதாரம். வெரும் ஏட்டுக்கல்வியையும் தாண்டி அநுபவ அறிவும் கேட்டறியும் திறனும் நம் தேடுதலையும் கற்றலையும் செப்பனிடவைக்கும். நம்மை போன்ற சாமானியர்களின் தீர்க்கமுடியாத சந்தேகம் இயற்கை வளத் தை காப்பாற்ற வேண்டுமென்றும் மரம் நடுவோமென்று சொல்லும் அதிகார இயந்திரங்கள் அதை பின்பற்றுகின்றதா?      குழந்தை தொழிலை ஒழிப்பது மிகவும் அவசியமென்பதில்  ஐ யம்மில்லை, ஆனால் அத்தகை ய கொடூர நிலைக்கு அவர்களை தள்ளுவதும் அவர்களை கதியற்றவர்களாய் மாற்றுவதும் எந்த அதிகார இயந்திரம்?      பெருந்தலைவர் சத்துணவு கொண்டுவ ந்த காலமானது அவர்களுக்கு உணவுத் தேவையின் அவசியத்தை மட்டுமே உணர்த்திய காலம். ஆனால் மனிதனையும் மனிதாபிமானத்தையும் கொல்லும் இக்காலத்தில் யாரும் எதுவும் முக்கியமில்லை. குறுந்தொழில் புரிபவர்களும் கூலித்தொழிலாலர்களும் கடனிலும் துயரங்களிலும் மூழ்க பெரும்முதலாலிகள் கவலைகளின்றி கோடிகோடியாய் கடன் பெருவதும் , அதை திருப்பி செலுத்தாத போதிலும் மீண்டும் ரகசிய நிபந்தனைகளோடு மீண்டும் கடன் பெருவது எப்படி?
